Re-Employment Connection Dislocated
The Re-Employment Connection
Dislocated Worker Program provides employability skills and work
experience for adults, ages 18 and up. We are now accepting
applications for our “Pilot” program. The Re-Employment Connections
“Pilot” program is offered to applicants who meet the Dislocated
Worker Criteria ONLY (see below). Eligible participants will have
an opportunity to earn $12 an hour and work up to 40 hours a week
for 8 weeks.

WIA Dislocated Worker criteria
- If you have been terminated, laid off, or downsized
- If you are eligible for receiving Reemployment Assistance
benefits (formerly Unemployment Compensation)
- If you have exhausted your Reemployment Assistance
- If you worked at a facility with more than 25 employees that
announced a permanent layoff
- If you are a homemaker who no longer receives support from
another family member and are looking to enter the workforce
- If you were self-employed and currently unemployed due to a
natural disaster or economic conditions Priority of service will be
given to eligible veterans and their spouses

Paid Internships for
Attention Businesses: Get connected to
paid interns, age 18 and up, at no cost to your company
through the Re-Employment Connection. It’s a win-win
situation - WCF will make the job seeker/ business connections and
a contractual third party will even write the payroll checks.
Interns can earn up to $12/hour, for 40 hours per week for 12
