tools; typing software; a career interest assessment tool; job

Florida; self-paced tutorials on Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel,

The Re-Employment Connection program provides employability
skills and work experience for adults, ages 18 and up. The
budget for this program is projected to be expended for this year;
therefore, we are no longer accepting job seeker applications for
the Re-Employment Connection at this time.
Registration for the SUMMER JOB
CONNECTION is now open! Participants selected will make $8.25/hour
and will work 35 hours per week for 7 or 16 weeks at local
nonprofits, government agencies and targeted private sector
companies. Gain valuable work experience and new skills.
The Ticket to Work Program is a supportive, active and
resource-rich avenue to employment for SSI and SSDI
recipients.
The Entrepreneurial Boot Camp was a five-day
event held in April 2011 that consisted of seminars produced
and facilitated by the University of Central Florida.
Learn about this skill building, networking and professional
development event designed for budding entrepreneurs and
transitioning professionals.
The ZuCan program helps participants receiving public assistance
create a plan to gain the skills and work experience they need to
get a job and move up the career ladder. Through ZuCan Works,
program participants are placed with a local business to gain work
experience. This allows participants to gain job-specific skills,
while helping employers increase productivity and meet business
needs.
