Workforce Central Florida can help you to better prepare for the job you want, outfit you with job leads, and provide the resources you need. WCF offers a variety of no-cost employment and training services to residents of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Sumter counties at our local offices.
Services range from the essential tools that job seekers need to find a job in today’s workforce to training opportunities, recruitment events, information on community resources and special programs that assist job seekers to overcome employment hurdles.

The most important step toward making a good career decision is understanding your own skills and interests. WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA provides a test, called the Choices Interest Profiler, to help you learn what skills and interests you possess and what career is a good "fit" for you.
The Entrepreneurial Boot Camp was a five-day event held in April 2011 that consisted of seminars produced and facilitated by the University of Central Florida.

WCF understands that ex-offenders may face obstacles when trying to reenter the workforce. To help, WCF offers an “Ex-Offender Overview” workshop and links to resources to help in a job search.
At each of our offices, you will find a professional Resource Room that provides no-cost access to a variety of employment resources such as: computer and printer; fax; copier; telephone; Internet access; Microsoft Office software; online resume building tools; typing software; a career interest assessment tool; job salary comparisons; information on growing industries in Central Florida; self-paced tutorials on Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The room is staffed by full-time professionals who can answer questions, provide direction, give instructions and render assistance or advice. The Welfare Transition program helps participants receiving public assistance create a plan to gain the skills and work experience they need to get a job and move up the career ladder.
Special programs, services and financial incentives beyond WCF’s basic services are available for those who qualify under the WIA Program. The goal of the WIA Program is for job seekers to obtain permanent, unsubsidized employment at a self-sufficient rate of pay.
